How to Prepare Hojicha (Roasted Tea Ritual)
Sift: Add 2–3g (approx. 1 tsp) of Hojicha powder into a chawan (tea bowl) or mug.
Pour: Add 60–70ml (2–2.5 oz) of hot water cooled to 85–90°C (185–194°F) — Hojicha welcomes slightly higher heat to fully release its roasted aroma.
Whisk: Using a chasen (bamboo whisk) or electric frother, whisk briskly in a zigzag "W" motion until smooth.
